facility in Bridgeport, New Jersey is fully equipped to provide thermal spraying, welding, machining, grinding and
finishing under one roof. Operations such as surface preparation, thermal
spraying and final finishing are performed in isolated areas in order to maintain
cleanliness and produce quality surface coatings that are free from defects. |

| THERMAL SPRAY CAPABILITIES Our thermal spraying capabilities include:
- Wire Arc - Typically the most economical
solution. Best for restoration of worn parts or babbitting. Induces the
least amount of heat into the part being sprayed.
- Plasma - Used for spraying ceramics as well as
alloys. Can be sprayed into inside diameters as small as 5".
- HVOF - Typically provides the most dense, most
corrosion resistant and highest strength coatings. Used for tungsten
carbides, chrome carbides as well as alloys. Can be sprayed into inside diameters as small
as 10".

| MACHINING
CAPABILITIES Our
machine shop includes:
- Seven large lathes with capacity up to 60"
diameter and 35 feet long.
- A versatile 4" spindle horizontal mill.
- A vertical lathe with capacity to
55" diameter.
- Multiple, smaller mills and lathes.

| GRINDING/FINISHING
CAPABILITIES Our
grinding facilities include:
- Three dedicated horizontal grinders.
- Grinding capacity to 60" diameter and 35
feet length.
- Diamond surfacing equipment for ceramics and
other hard surfaces.
- Super finishing equipment to achieve 2 µ inch
Ra surface quality.
- Precision honing of bores
We routinely finish turbine journals to
0.0002" tolerances and hone bores. |
