Thermal spray coatings have dramatically improved in the last 20 years. They are now specified by many original equipment manufacturers of turbo-machinery, compressors, aerospace, and medical devices, just to name a few. Thermal spray coatings are routinely used to impart resistance to corrosion, erosion, wear and heat to new and repaired components. Thermal spray coatings are also used to restore worn metal parts, eroded tanks and heat exchangers or recover mis-machined components.
